Power outage Convention is a strained, invigorating hierarchical shooter that joins 3-player center activity with roguelite movement frameworks. As Specialists of the S2P Partnership, your main goal is straightforward: battle your direction to the core of Segment 13, a rambling underground exploration base right now being invaded by its own lethal trials.
Paying special attention to your kindred Specialists implies something beyond covering their six. In the confined passageways of Segment 13, well disposed fire is a steady risk. Select your objectives cautiously and coordinate situating, involving in-game voice and quickchat.
Actual risk is only the start. As you encounter extraordinary repulsions that need to hook your go head to head, watch out for your Frenzy Check, or hazard a run-destroying freakout in battle. However, recall: beasts can overreact, as well. Use apparatuses like light, sound, and psionic lightning cannons to reverse the situation and outsmart your enemies.
Each time you enter Section 13, you’ll find temporary enhancements that grant you an edge during that run. You’ll also collect credits, weapons blueprints, and valuable data, which you can exchange for permanent upgrades at saferooms throughout the facility… if you can reach them.
Die on the way, and S2P’s patented Death Nullification System™ will see your consciousness blasted back to the start of the mission, allowing you to try and try again.
Because at S2P, failure is not an option. Literally.
