In A Plague Tale: Requiem, Hugo is a young boy who is about 12 years old at the start of the game. The game is set in medieval France during the time of the Black Death, and Hugo is the younger brother of Amicia, a young woman in her late teens or early twenties. Together, Amicia and Hugo try to survive and escape the clutches of the Inquisition as they journey through a dark and dangerous world filled with plague-ridden rats and ruthless soldiers.
