A Plague Tale: Requiem is set in medieval France during the time of the Black Death. The game follows the journey of two siblings, Amicia and Hugo, as they try to survive and escape the clutches of the Inquisition. The story takes place in a variety of locations, including small villages, forests, and castles, as the siblings travel across the country in an attempt to find safety and a way to stop the spread of the plague.
